As we have settled with formation, players, tactics, and management. Now we can focus with the matches, match by match. This season, I will focus to achieve my own objective – Champions League qualification. May be too optimistic but we believe that we have already players that firmly can help me to achieve this target.

August

This month we have 4 Premier League and 1 league cup matches. First game versus newcomers – Newcastle, unforunate for us as we luckily got a draw. What a disappointed game. Even more disappointed as we lose to Bolton on away game. But 3rd game, against tough oppossition, Chelsea, we managed to win this game with clean sheet, but not only winning, we managed to score 5 goal against Chelsea. What a good game. But this lucky charm not always on our side. Versus Everton we lose 1 – 3 at home.

September

This month make me smile even we out from League Cup competition. We win 3 out of 3. And the best thing is, Welliton managed to score every games. What a wonderful player he is. Goals galore against West Ham which we managed to win this 5 goals to 4. What a game!

October

Again, Welliton show that he’s worth every penny. He score every games for this month except game that we lose to Blackburn. Against Manchester United, we manage to get a draw and the best things is in away game. Now, I’m pretty sure that we will managed to get our objective. From now, I need to analyse carefully every games.

November

Another big team fall against us. We win over Liverpool not only with 1 goal but 3 goals and Welliton managed to get 2 goals for him. But against Sunderland, we lose with 1 – 2. I’m no idea why we lose this game as we have almost 55% possession on that game.

December

This month, I’m proud we manage to win against Manchester City and Arsenal. Against Arsenal we managed to score 4 goals. Again, another big team falls again us.

January

This month, Welliton show that he is the striker that capable to score out of nothing. 4 matches and we win all this matches. What a good month for us.

February

I though we can repeat a good perfomance against Manchester United. Unfortunately, we lose with 3 goals against. Noted that in FA Cup, we managed to outscore chelsea with 3 goals against 1. Again, we managed to upset the big team. This time, I have adopt a corners strategy from Football Manager Guru. Well, the result is impressive where Berra managed to score from freekick. Now, I have sort out set pieces and hopefully this will bring more goals from set pieces.

Mac

Another victims for this month is Liverpool. We manage to score 4 goals against 2 which in this match, Welliton score 2 goals. However, we are out from FA Cup as we lose to Portsmouth. This match I just using second string team as I though we can manage to win this game. However, my though is wrong.

April

As I though, the set pieces setting give a good result. Out of 2 games, Berra managed to score 2 goals. Now, I’m belief with some tune, our set pieces play will be our secret weapons for next season.

May

Actually at this point, our position in the table should be enough to secure automatic Champions League qualification. Two matches against Arsenal and Manchester City, we lose 0 -1. Unfortunate for us but I’m really happy that we managed to spotted Champions League qualification.

Conclusion

After a long season, I admitted that I’m happy with the squad that I have. Welliton show that he’s worth every penny. Our midfield player that they capable to play with quick tempo and slow tempo. So for next season, I need just 1 -2 players to cover every of each players as we have more games coming as we already spot a qualification for Champions League. Next post, I will write on statistics and acheivement for this season. Very excited to wait for next season.
