Time is ticking fast equally with my game.

Suddenly I realize that I have finished my first season with Wolves. And our finishing is obvious will make our Board grateful to have me to be their man to managed their club….haha…

For this season we manage to stay away from relegation. We finished our league at 12th position with 15 points above relegation. Really pleased to see my team stay away from relegation.

So, who is my important man that strive our objectives to stay away from relegation?

Well said, for me all players playing their part. With a good team work and harmony in the squad, they managed to suppressed any pressure to be top of the league.

Who is best eleven for Wolves for 2009/2010?

Well said, if you looking to the screenshot ( the best eleven suggested by my Assistan Manager which I maintained from start of the season), I’m fully agreed that this is best 11 for Wolves for season 2009/2010.

Who is top scorer, 2nd and third provider?

Kevin Doyle is our man for this. As I’m using a lone striker, his burden should be more and well said he managed to lift that with scoring 18 goals for us. Also, I’m surprised that our right flanker managed to get 9 goals from the wing. Well done to David Edwards. Stefan Maierhofer as substitutes player managed to bagged 6 goals from the bench. What a decent player that I have. Also special praise for our play-maker, Camel Meriem as he managed to bagged 6 goals from center of the pitch.

Board Confidence

My only doubt is my transfers is not pleasing at all to Board. I think I have managed a good transfers by bringing some free transfers.

Conclusion

Obviously, I still think that we should finish above 12th position. But due to injury in the last quarter of the season, we have some matches that we should win but the result is disappointed. For next season, I have to go through the whole players as some of my player already attracted some big club and I feel that I need plan B to cater these situation.

Season fixtures and results

Here is results from friendly until the end of the season.

Start of the pre-season, for sure we arrange some friendlies.

Start of the season, we start with tough opponents. Starting with Blackburn, Liverpool then Manchester City. Well 2 first games we cannot surprised the odds and we only got a draw with Manchester City. Well said, this is a good result for us as the team is richest with a world class players.

For September, I’m feel that we can kick start our season with winning a matches. But unfortunately, we only got a draw with Club that have similar reputation, Hull. Still, we didn’t managed to win a games for this month. Another disappointed display from Wolves.

Then, this month we try to against odds. Lucky for us, we managed to win our first games. We managed to win with 4 goals to 1 against Bolton. Next 2 fixtures we managed to get a draw with a good teams, Birmingham and Fulham.

Tough opposition for this month. We have to face Manchester United, Spurs, West Ham, Aston Villa and Chelsea, consider that these team, if we managed to a get a draw, then this should be enough. However, we managed to win 3 games versus Aston Villa, Chelsea and Manchester City. I’m really surprised that we managed to scored more then 2 goals against these teams. The matches that should win, unfortunately we not able to win like Burnley, Wigan and Stoke. Obviously, we have to turn this in order us to survive from relegation.

Standing ovation for Wolves players. We managed to win a matches versus Blackburn, Arsenal, Bolton, Birmingham and also Manchester United.

For last season, We only lose 1 match against Chelsea.

That’s all, some of the games we should win we not able to do that but against big club, we managed to surprised the odds. That’s why in my conclusion I concluded that we should finished higher than 12th position IF we managed to win a games against clubs that have similar reputation with us.

However, I’m still satisfied with the way we played against strong club like Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City.

Here come next season. I’m really excited to go to next season as I already have a formation that suddenly I founded and this formation needs a strong midfielder as they need to cover back four and at the same time have to supports when attacking. Nevermind, I will write 1 post about my formation later.
